JENNY KURI
FINE ART DOLLS & PUPPETS
Jenny's
whimsical characters are sculpted from beautiful textiles,
feathers and completed with needle-felted features.
The
inspiration for Jenny's unique figures are shaped by
her interpretation of the natural world. An abundance
of colourful materials are used, specializing in felt.
Jenny attended the Ontario College of Art and Design,
and the Nova Scotia College of Art where she studied
in the Material Art and Design program. She now lives
and works in Toronto. Her work can be found at various
shows around Toronto, and in private collections in
Canada, the U.S. and Germany. Her work has been shown
regularly at C1 Artspace in Toronto, at the Living Arts
Centre in Mississauga,the Toronto Outdoor Art Show in
Nathan Phillips Square, and most recently at the One
of A Kind Christmas show at the Exhibition Place.
